Courage to Call is a Veteran-run, peer-to-peer support program in San Diego County providing free services to active and former military members, their families and loved ones. This program connects callers with former members of the military who understand the rigors of military life and have made the transition to civilian life.
Veterans and active duty military, reservists, National Guardsmen, their families and loved ones are provided with referrals to resources and support to reduce stress and improve overall mental health. These services are provided off-base in a safe and private atmosphere.

Courage to Call in the Community
Courage to Call participates in the San Diego County Vet-Fam Forum, a collaboration of community leaders & organizations whose goal is to identify, build and maintain relationships between one another to help offer the best resources and services available.
Courage to Call also offers training for organizations to help provide a better understanding of military life and family culture. Call the number below to learn more about scheduling a training session.
The Courage to Call program is funded by the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency and Mental Health America San Diego with Mental Health Services Act funding. Services are provided by Mental Health Systems, Inc. in collaboration with Veterans Village of San Diego and Mental Health America of San Diego County.
