Program Description
Families Forward is a Wraparound Program in which mental health professionals and paraprofessionals partner with youth and families to find creative solutions to the family's unique challenges. Wraparound is a family-driven process that facilitates team building and decision making using the strengths and resources of the family and community. Together, the team creates goals to promote stabilization in the home and self-sufficiency through community and family partnership.
Position Description: Program Supervisor –
Management Duties:
- Supervise Administrative, Medical Records, and Quality Assurance staff.
- Program outreach and recruitment and supervise the Community Development Liaison.
- Coordinate and manage all agency referrals and referral process.
- Assist Program Manager with day-to-day operations.
- Attend Eligibility and Enrollment meetings and other appropriate community and agency meetings and task forces.
- Display regular and reliable attendance. Report to and depart from work on time, as scheduled, and accurately reflect all on timecard.
- Successfully function as a team member.
- Clinical Duties:
- Provide case consultation, supervision, and coaching to clinical staff as needed.
- Provide required documentation and reports, both clinical and administrative.
- Provide 24-hour crisis intervention as part of the crisis team.
- Facilitate Wraparound and other trainings.
- Manage program’s “No Wrong Door” Referral service.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Possess strengths in areas of behavioral/clinical theory & intervention, child/family system and organization abilities.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Valid California license as a LCSW, MFCC, or Clinical Psychologist; supervisory experience preferred.
- Minimum 3years experience working with emotionally disturbed children, youth and their families in a mental health setting or in the community.
